Actors Guild of Nigeria suspends actor Moses Armstrong after he is accused of raping a minor in Akwa Ibom Â

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended actor Moses Armstrong following allegations that he raped a 16-year-old girl in Akwa Ibom.

After a complaint was filed against him, Moses Armstrong was apprehended by state police officials. The guild’s president, Emeka Rollas, confirmed his detention and indicated that the case was being handled by the state’s First Lady, Martha Udom Emmanuel, through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.

According to a statement released today, Saturday, June 15, and signed by its publicity secretary, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, Moses has been suspended and forbidden from functioning until the investigation into the claim is concluded.
